General Manager - Corporate Services Sustainability Victoria Simon has over 20 years experience in the environmental sustainability area including government, consulting and the private sector. Simon joined Sustainability Victoria’s predecessor, EcoRecycle Victoria, in 2001 and has had responsibility for developing and managing a number of business and resource recovery programs. Immediately prior to joining Sustainability Victoria, he worked for the non-profit organisation the Australian Centre for Cleaner Production for five years. He has also worked on a number of resource efficiency and sustainability projects in Indonesia, the Philippines and India. |

Executive Director of Health and Safety WorkSafe Victoria John is the Executive Director of Health and Safety at WorkSafe Victoria. WorkSafe is the occupational health and safety regulator for the State Government of Victoria, and part of the Victorian WorkCover Authority. John has an extensive background in workplace health and safety and has held senior management roles in leading Australian and international organisations. Prior to joining WorkSafe, John was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Safety Council of Australia – a position he held for three years. In that role, he was also a member of the Asia Pacific Occupational Health and Safety Organisation. John has been the Associate Director of the management consulting firm, World Competitive Practices, and the Executive Manager of Fletcher Construction Australia. He has also held senior roles in the Australian trade union movement. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and completed postgraduate research work at the London School of Economics under a British Government scholarship and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |

Executive Director
Australian Productivity Council Craig has held this position since 1987. Prior to joining the APC, he worked as a Technical Manager with a major trading company engaged in European trade. Originally qualified in Economics and Politics at Monash University, Craig has undertaken further postgraduate studies in industrial economics and economic history, with a particular interest in Australian industrial development and technology issues. The APC is a private-sector industry assistance organisation, originally founded as the Commonwealth funded peak body dedicated to productivity promotion and improvement in 1969. The organisation was privatised in 1987. It has worked in thousands of enterprises of all sizes and types and offers a wide range of business improvement services in systems management, engineering, research and product development throughout Australia. The APC has subsidiary businesses in the United Kingdom and in New Zealand. Craig is also a director of more than twenty years standing of the Victorian Innovation Centre Ltd (Innovic) and is the President of the Society for Australian Industry and Employment (SAIE) |

Australian Made, Australian Grown Campaign Ian joined Australian Made Campaign Ltd as its Chief Executive in June 2004. Prior to joining the Campaign Ian’s career mainly involved senior executive positions with employer organizations in South Australia and nationally. His principal field of work was policy and economics. During this time he was Chair of the SA Accreditation and Registration Council, a statutory body responsible for all indentured training and the accreditation of all training courses other than those delivered in Universities. Before joining AMCL he was for 5 years the Chief Executive of SA Business Vision 2010 Inc, a joint initiative of business, Government, educationalists and community groups in SA to increase the future prosperity of that State. During Harrison’s time with Australian Made, Australian Grown, the logo has been promoted as the global product symbol of Australia. |

In the space of five decades, Max has travelled an amazing road from schoolboy sporting prodigy to having one of the most recognisable faces and voices in Australia. Along the way, he managed to play Test Cricket in a golden era, VFL/AFL football for the Melbourne Football Club, take centre stage in the sports media arena and author 14 books. Academically he qualified from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a Fellowship Diploma of Architecture and practiced as an architect for 10 years. Max’s transition from the sporting fields to the hypnotic world of media and keynote speaking was seamless …a natural charismatic we are sure you will enjoy his company! |
